About Us

Formerly known as Oxford Houses, Invisible Connections is a 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to provide safe and sober housing to individuals in recovery. We provide more than just a roof; we provide a community of peers and structured guidelines to ensure you successfully maintain your home and your health.


This opportunity is made possible by local landlords who want to give back to those in recovery. In order to ensure sustainability and equity, a board of directors oversees both houses.

Eligibility Requirements

  • 30 days of sobriety
  • History of substance use disorder
  • Commitment to recovery
  • Pay their share of house expenses
  • Maintain sobriety
  • Willingness to follow house rules
  • No children may reside in the home
  • * membership requirements are open to discretion of house mentor and residents *

Joining Our Community

The Process

Members of the house will review your application at their weekly meeting and conduct an interview. Approval depends on bed availability and your ability to pay.


Cost & Fees

There is no application fee. If accepted, the following are required:

  • $80 First week's rent
  • $80 Sobriety deposit

Member Benefits

  • Peer support from others in recovery
  • Voting rights on potential new residents
  • Training on maintaining a household
  • No time limit on stay (as long as rules are followed)
  • Report to a community Mentor or Resident Assistant
  • Attend weekly house meetings
  • Random drug testing may be required
